Jennifer Aydin is addressing the buzz around her recent weight loss with a dose of humor. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star didn’t hold back when discussing the accusations that she’s been using Ozempic, a Type 2 diabetes medication also known for its weight loss benefits.
During the July 14 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Jennifer firmly told host Andy Cohen, “I am not on Ozempic!” She continued:
“For anyone yelling at me saying my head is too big for my body, it’s just my hair. And to those saying I should stop taking Ozempic because their family members can’t get it, I’m not on it.”
Instead, Jennifer revealed her actual weight loss secret with a laugh. “I’m on Mounjaro, okay,” the 47-year-old said, referring to another injectable drug. “Mounjaro 2.5. I’m sorry! I love being this weight, I love it! I have so much energy if you couldn’t tell.”

Jennifer isn’t the only RHONJ cast member who’s openly discussed their use of appetite-suppressing medications. Dolores Catania shared in July 2023 interview with The US Sun that she’s been using Mounjaro for a while now.
“I was medically prescribed because I am insulin-resistant, pre-diabetic, and have a thyroid issue.”
Dolores explained.
She also acknowledged the uncertainty about long-term effects, saying, “It’s questionable—what are the repercussions of this when everyone’s done? Are there side effects? All the doctors I spoke to said ‘no.'”
Despite using the medication, Dolores emphasized that weight loss isn’t easy. “I work out regularly. There is no easy fix for weight loss and I have to watch what I eat,” she said.

Another RHONJ star, Margaret Josephs, is also a fan of these weight loss drugs. “I take them as a shot once a week, and that helps you lose weight and improves your metabolism,” she shared. Margaret acknowledged mixed reactions from her co-stars about her weight loss, but stood by her decision.
“Everyone is like, ‘Marge, you look great,’ although some of my costars think some of my weight loss is not a great idea. But I think it’s ridiculous. I think it’s whatever works for me.”
